Past Post

Here's an article I wrote a while for my blog, Patrick Cowsill Wanhua Taiwan. I have received much feedback. Some of my Taiwanese friends aren't convinced about the origins of the Taiwanese wandering, or zig-zagging, stroll as I have explained them. Others agree. Most of my Western friends see something to what I'm saying about the diagonal drift in the walking that occurs in Taiwan: The post also covers ghosts, the ancient street of Bo Pi Liao (剝皮寮) and the history of Wanhua (萬華), Taiwan.
